These last few months have been travel-filled in our household! With three out of town weddings in just five weeks (yes, you read that right) things have been a bit hectic. I've even managed to lose two classes with my beloved art enrichment (massive boo). I'm definitely looking forward to this next week off to get myself caught up on grading, lesson planning, and laundry. So.Much.Laundry.
The up side to all of this travel is that it brought me home. My mom still has just about every piece I've ever made, and lucky for me, my favorites are on her walls and not in the very cold attic. Please pardon the very, very poor lighting and cell phone pictures!!!

A real throwback! Pretty sure this gem is from elementary school. There is some stellar slip and score action on the inside!
Another elementary school gem! LOVE coil bowls!!!
This one might be my favorite image from high school. Our assignment was to take an image of something from under a microscope and make it giant. This painting is about 2'x4'- easily my largest completed work. The rebel in me chose to paint Becks beer. Coincidence I married a man who brewed the beer for our wedding? I think not! (I swear, I had never actually had beer in high school!!)
